		Eve Preforming Arts Studio The Gloria Eve Performing Arts Foundation, Inc Not for Profit 501(c)(3) located in Hempstead, N.Y (Nassau County, Long Island) company division traveled to Orlando, Florida to compete in The International Dance Challenge July 17 to July 20, 2008 which is one of the biggest dance competitions in the world.

The competition dance company is made up of African American elementary through high school students who study various areas of the performing arts such as Ballet/Modern, Hip Hop, African, Jazz, Gloria Eve
		Preforming Arts StudioTap, Breakdance, Capoeira, Acting & Vocal. Being led by Founder/Artistic Director Mesha Millington & Asst. Artistic Director Lisa Hilliard-Hopkins, Gloria Eve company competed against dance teams from all over the United States, Australia, Puerto Rico, Chec Republic & Australia to name a few at this 4 day competition. Their efforts of hard-work & perseverance with the focus of discipline, technique, choreography, emotion & performance led them to bringing home multiple platinum champions & receiving the highest award of all – The National Senior Ultimate Challenge Champion (received the highest overall score in the competition). The competition will be televised on Long Island local cable viewing area late September / early October.

These accomplishments along with others show the level of talent & instruction that is cultivated & produced at Gloria Eve. This why parents of these children & others like them travel from communities all of over long island & queens to study the culture of performing arts with Gloria Eve.

Mission: to promote the performing arts via providing families of the community with affordable access to the arts, that nurture children with the true culture of the performing arts. While instilling values of discipline, self esteem and scholarship in association with community service.
