The Gloria Eve Performing Arts Foundation, Arts-in Education Division is committed to bringing Dance, Theatre, and Music into the classrooms. Arts in Education and Community Programs include special performances, Lecture Demonstrations, and Curriculum Based Residencies. Each Residency is crafted to meet the needs or goals of the school. Themes, books or plays can be integrated if requested by school staff. Length of residency can vary in length and culminates with a performance by students. ( 8 week sessions or more only) K- 12 Programming designed to accomplish NYC’s Arts’ standards, The Blue Prints for Teaching and Learning in the Arts.
Our Community Programs are committed to providing resources and arts classes to community free of charge.
Our “Teen Meet-Up” offers SAT Tutoring, Scholarship Forums, and a variety of resources to provide teens with tools to access funding and education needs.
“Get Fit, Get Cultured” series offer free dance classes to Adults. This helps them to find new or fun was to stay active or get fit while learning about cultures through dance/music. We hope those curious will take on the discipline long-term.
