This class begins with a warm up of stretching and strengthening muscles. It then travels to learning and studying the fundamentals of jazz technique with a high concentration on kicks, turns and leaps. Students then graduate into a combination or a routine. Dancers are encouraged to apply learned technique along with feelings and emotions expressed in the choreography- in other words "dance out of the box" - dancing is not all work - there is some play...
